1. Our raspberries are ripening in full force. We could tell before we left we were going to have a lot on our hands, but since we have gotten back we have picked at least 5 cups a day. I've never eaten so many raspberries in my life, which is a good problem. We've already frozen a handful, and given some away, and are now on to baking with them. So far only muffins, but I have ambitions this weekend of crumb cake, scones, and breakfast bars.
2. We enjoyed our first bonfire at the new house last night. It was mostly just out of necessity of having too much wood to burn (from the trimmed tree in the front), but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
3. This is what it looks like when you have to mail out nearly 5,000 letters for work in a week, and you can't use the folding/ stuffing machine so you bring some home for your husband to help with about 2,000 of them. Isn't he nice?
4. Looks like the weddings are already starting to line up for next summer, and, in at least one of them, I won't just be a guest :)
