what i wore wednesday

What? You thought these were done? Nope, I just took a brief 3 month break from documenting my weekly wardrobe. And I'm back now today with another special addition, the running WIWW.

Probably the second best investment I made this summer, besides the $120 on a window air conditioner was spending $100 on some real running gear. No longer do I have to go out on a hot summer day in a heavy, cotton t-shirt. I used to think that was fine. The point of running, for me, was that it was cheap exercise. So besides good shoes, I did not want to invest in anything else. On a whim/ need for a shopping spree, I picked up 4 dry-fit shirts, a couple shorts, and a new sports bra- and it was worth every penny. Now I can go out on a hot summer day and not come home weighted down by my clothes AND I feel infinitely cooler (as in less warm) while out on my run. And if you don't buy these things at a sporting good store, but instead at say Marshall's or TJMaxx, they are really
not that expensive.
