1. On the agenda for this weekend: vending 2 games, work fundraiser, birthday party, housewarming party, mini golfing/hayride/ pumpkin patch extravaganza, removing a beehive from the roof, and hopefully a little painting if the weather continues to cooperate and some gutter cleaning. Whew!
2. We hosted a chili cook-off and bonfire recently, and while our chili didn't win any prizes this year (last year it took second), I would still highly recommend this buffalo chicken chili if you are in the mood for something besides traditional red chili. Next time we make it though I think I will substitute shredded chicken.
3. This week flew by and I didn't get to mention one of the highlights from last week, getting to spend the day with an old friend and roommate from college:
